Taking its name from the giant willows and agricultural land that formerly covered this region, the neighborhood contains much natural beauty. Throughout Willow Glen, there are parks that offer basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, pickleball, playgrounds, and picnic areas. It is also located near the Los Gatos Creek Trail which is fantastic for biking, running, or walking. 
 
Extremely community-oriented, there are several local events that contribute to the friendly atmosphere of the neighborhood, including Art on the Avenue and Wine Walks. An annual Wine Walk takes attendees on a sipping tour of downtown shops every September and in December there are special cable car rides offered to view holiday lights. The St Christopher Festival is a can’t-miss annual carnival hosted at a local parish and residents gather regularly at Bramhall Park and Lincoln Glen Park, both offering shady green space, plus playgrounds and ball fields.
